Introduction

Boundary Trainer ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

No account required. We do not require you to sign in or create an account. We designed the app this way so you can use it without sharing your identity and feel safe while practicing.

AI dialogue. Before you use the AI practice feature, we ask for your explicit consent. We explain what data is sent (your practice messages), who receives it (OpenAI), and how it is used. We only send data to OpenAI after you accept.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Dialogue Content: Messages you type (or speak, converted to text) during AI practice sessions are sent to OpenAI for processing. We collect this data only when you start a practice session after accepting our in-app consent. Messages are processed in real time to generate AI responses and are not stored permanently on our servers. OpenAI may process data according to their privacy policy.
• Voice Input: If you use voice input, audio is converted to text on your device and only the text is sent for processing.
• Language Preference: Your selected language is stored locally on your device.

Automatically Collected Information

• Session Data: Brief session history (scenario titles and results) is stored locally on your device.
• Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the app.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide AI-powered dialogue practice and analysis
• To improve our scenarios and AI responses
• To provide customer support

Data Storage and Security

• Dialogue content is processed in real-time and not permanently stored on our servers
• Session history is stored locally on your device only
• We use industry-standard encryption for data transmission

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenAI API: Powers our AI dialogue practice feature. When you use the dialogue feature, we send your practice messages (and scenario context) to OpenAI's API. OpenAI processes this data to generate AI replies. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. OpenAI commits to privacy and security standards; see OpenAI's Privacy Policy. We do not permanently store your dialogue content on our servers.
• RevenueCat: Manages in-app subscriptions. Purchase data is handled according to RevenueCat's privacy policy.
• Firebase (Google): Analytics and crash reporting. Data is processed according to Google's privacy policy.
• AppsFlyer: Attribution and analytics (iOS only). Data is processed according to AppsFlyer's privacy policy.
• AppMetrica (Yandex): Analytics. Data is processed according to Yandex's privacy policy.

These services may collect device identifiers, usage data, and crash reports to improve app stability and performance.

Subscription and Payment Information

All subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not store your payment information. Apple's Privacy Policy governs the processing of payment data.

When you subscribe:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• We receive anonymous subscription status (active/expired) from RevenueCat but no payment details

Advertising and Tracking

We may use your data for:

• Personalized advertising: We may show you relevant ads based on your app usage
• Attribution: Track which advertising campaigns led to app installations
• Analytics: Understand how users interact with the app

On iOS 14.5+, you can control tracking through App Tracking Transparency (ATT) settings. We respect your choice and will not track you across other apps and websites without permission.

Your Rights

• You can delete your local session history at any time by clearing app data
• You can request information about any data we may have collected
• You can opt out of analytics collection

Children's Privacy

This app is intended for users aged 12 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 12.
